Virginia Energy is offering up to $11.5M in total funding through their Virginia Grid Reliability Improvement Program (VGRIP). This federally funded program will enable Virginia to partner with utility providers and other eligible entities to limit disruptive events that adversely impact our homes, schools, businesses and critical infrastructure. Eligible lead applicants include electric grid operators, electricity storage operators, electricity generators, transmission owners or operators, distribution providers, fuel suppliers, or any other relevant entity as determined by Virginia Energy.
If you are a startup or company working in this area but not one of the above eligible lead applicants, you can partner up with an eligible lead applicant for a project. DEIC is helping to facilitate matching eligible lead applicants with other companies working in the space to submit proposals. Please complete this form if you represent a startup or company that does not qualify as a lead applicant but are interested in finding a partner with whom to apply.
If you are a potential partner, you can find out about the interested companies here and contact them directly.
